The rave review: NARS NARSissist Matte/Shimmer Eyeshadow Palette.

NARS NARSissist Matte/Shimmer Eyeshadow Palette

GOOD products are easy to spot in my makeup collection, for being the most used, most loved and most frequently found in my handbag (so my flatmate doesn’t steal them). This NARRSISST eye palette is no exception. I have not stopped using this baby since the day it landed in my lap. If you are in the market for an eyeshadow palette, read on…

The warm earthy brown shades are most suited to blue, green or grey eyes. NARS have thrown a steel grey colour in to make this palette more versatile for darker eyes, the black is deep and inky, I can confidently say it caters for my picky neutral needs. The gorgeous black glitter liner is pretty good too! It really amps-up the rock’n’roll, ideal for an evening out, OR if you are anything like me… a Monday morning.

I have no gripes with this palette, it is beautifully ergonomic, doesn’t ping open (all the Kevyn Aucoin compacts ping open – fabulous products, dodgy packaging), each shadow is buttery soft, highly pigmented and easy to blend. The shades are mostly warm without being pink, and very flattering with a decent hit of glittery shimmer. At £39 you will not regret buying it.

Mandchourie, Bonifacio, Zagreb, Heraklion + Night Series black eyeliner in an automatic pencil.

9/10 – One point lost for the mirrored outer packaging that just gets grubby waaay too easily. You can buy here.
